Southern Utah. Specifically, Southwestern Utah. I can’t think of a better place to locate a rapidly growing religion. I heart Southwestern Utah.
People actually live here. Unbelievable! They must feel like they are at Church all the time. Well, the Church of the Blue Dome anyway.
The only problem with Southwestern Utah is that most of my family and now part of Tasha’s family, not to mention a lot of friends, now call it home. By the time we visit everyone, share the Gospel and mooch all their food (Thanks Tom and Dion, Kris and Bob, Jerry and Diane, Sergio and Wendy) there is very little time left over for biking. I guess we should stop preaching and just worship.
If you haven’t done Barrel Roll, Southwest of Santa Clara, you need to add it to your short list of rides should you visit.
I grew up in ST. George, Utah and it hasn’t changed much. The local bowling alley still looks just like it did when I was 10 years old. I’ve always loved those green stools and counter and the fries are still delicious.
It has changed a little, the competition has gotten a lot stiffer.
If you haven’t made it down to Southwestern Utah lately for worship you better start working on your priorities because religion doesn’t get any better than this and you are just getting older.
I spent a few good years in the SG worshiping the blue dome, still trying to get back…one day
Sweetness I love barrel roll! bowling in st G I gotta check er out
Gorgeous photos!
I didn’t realize you grew up in SG. I graduated from Dixie High way back in the good ol’ days. Good times. I don’t get back there often enough. Every time I go there’s a new road and a thousand more houses.
thanks for sharing the word. everything looks lovely.
i like your church. A lot.
ET-Really? What were you doing in SG? I don’t think there has ever been a cross race in SG.
Rio’s Rider-What year did you graduate? 86′ for me from Pine View HS.
Rick S._I consider you one of the Apostles of the COTBD.
Speaking of the Church of the Blue Dome, have you seen: http://www.adriannye.com/bluedome.html?
Yes, the worshiping has been great lately. ‘Tis the season.
Did you know there are a couple brand spanking new trails near Barrel Roll? They are not published and hard to find. If you come down for Camp Lynda again you’ll surely get a tour of the new goods, and good they are!
Dave-I can hardly wait. I’ll be there will bells on.
Fellas!
We are worshippers from the Shenandoah Valley in VA that have been attending a church of the same name and denomination (rubber side down) for almost two decades. And so the internet now enjoins us! As an extension of the principles of our practice, we also play mad croquet before, during and after church (Poison rules of course). We are also live music clan from the best of Jerry to Umphree’s! We extend mad olive branch to our brothers and sisters out west.
