Impromptu Race

24 Nov

You know what’s cool? One hour before the cyclocross race today I asked Tasha if she wanted to go race and she says, “Umm…OK. Why not?” That’s what’s cool. She’s the one in the lime green vest.

She was in the middle of the pack until flatting out with one lap to go.

I continued with that same theme in my race flatting out with 2 laps to go. It was much more fun than the first race we did in Ogden way back in October or whenever it was. I can’t believe how many people show up to these races, about 2-3 times more people per category than the Intermountain Cup races. We’ve both vowed to avenge our flats at next weeks race.

Maybe I’ll see you at the race next week. I’ve got to try one of these before the season ends.

    Too bad about the flats.

Rick – Next week is the last race of the season at Wheeler farm. they have a really fun course set up there. The week after that is the final race of the season in Ogden. Really fun, really painful. Right up your alley.
