Brad:

On the phone with Lance. He was with me last week in Florida where we did some riding along the coast. You need to make a trek to Alabama sometime for a ride.

Hey Brad - Nice job on the Butte 100! I did the Butte 50 on the singlespeed (have been switching over from geared to SS) and am curious to hear how much of your overall riding/training you do on the SS prior to a dirty century. I have done several endurance events (including Leadville, Cohutta, Laramie, etc) but all on geared bikes to date. The Butte 50 was my first longer ride on the SS and I started cramping big time about 1/2 way through (probably partially because of the 32X18 gearing) - last 1/2 was a sufferfest but mmmmm mmmm the beer tasted good afterwards...curious to hear from a seasoned SS'r.....

I'm building a Vassago Jaberwocky (picking up the frame next week) and really want to steal your white stem idea. If I swear not to take credit for your genius and style, would you tell me how you got it?

Hey Brad

I have been trying to get hold of you and say hi, for a while now. I think the last time we saw each other was working on my house 4 years ago.
I just came across your blog and looks like your doing pretty well.

Looking, your photos and your experience look similar to my experiences in China and Taiwan. Very eye opening culturally and culinary wise.

Take care and shoot me an email.

Ciao,

Hey Brad...
I've been reading you blog since Dec. 07 now (followed a link from Fatty's blog)...I am very interested in exploring more of the Gooseberry mesa. Would you be willing to send me the GPS routes? I am also very intrigued by CarboRocket...when can I get my hands on some? It sounds like it could be just what I have been looking for!
It is obvious that you are interested in philanthropic persuits, or at least it would appear so by some of the things you have blogged about. I live in northern Utah county and would like to become more invloved in something like pauls kids or other. Have you ever thought about doing/starting something that involved cycling? There are projects that I have heard about that combine cycling and community on a grass roots level (check out the LA burrito project). Anyway, just throwing that out there...Thanks for the blog, i enjoy reading it!
