I have no idea how long Jamie has been been dreaming and scheming and planning and bribing and flagging in order to get his trail started in Corner Canyon but its been a long time. Saturday a dozen of us left our bikes in the garage and put on jeans and t-shirts instead of lycra and began working on the soon to be named, future flagship trail in Draper. If you think the trails are awesome now, just you wait.

Jamie and Ken, the 2 trail bosses responsible for making it all happen. Thanks!

I was amazed how much we actually got done in such a short amount of time. Numbers make all the difference.

Here’s the section we worked on before we got started.

And after only a few hours.

I can only imagine how far we would have got if we had 2 dozen workers. I’ll try to get info posted well in advance if anyone is interested in joining us next time and with the amount of trail planned there will be plenty of next time.

If you want to get on the email list so you know exactly when and where next time shoot Jamie an email at tibiker@mac.com

Thanks for the free publicity! I really was amazed at how much we accomplished in such a short time with only 11 people. Imagine when we get a few days with some big groups up there how much ground we can cover.

I would have been there, but was working on the South Fork Deer Creek trail up AF Canyon instead. I’ll make the next one.

Nice photo of my kid. Man one day he is going to get enough of a butt to hold up his pants. To my amazement he is even wearing a belt. His mother will be so proud. Erich was really proud of the amount of trail that was opened up. I got a phone call Saturday night to tell me that about 100 yards of the most difficult trail had been cut.

Polaski would be a great name for that trail. Jamie- I promise to join you soon for some trail work. I already feel very guilty for missing this session on Sat.
It looks very, very good.

Would’ve been there but I was riding. DOH! Sorry Jamie, had the ride planned for awhile. May you be blessed for your sacrifices by the trail gods. See you next time.
